    Politics "Under God"

I would contend that the words Under God do NOT imply monotheism. Instead, they imply an American willingness to seek some greater good or goal. In my opinion, that is an aspiration that even self-proclaimed Athiests share. ;)

    Politics the death penalty

The fact that it costs more money to keep a person in jail for life is a bald-faced lie. Look it up if you like. D.P. costs state and taxpayers 1.1 mill, L.i.P. only 600k.

No it doesn't. Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2358. Homosexual acts are regarded as sins, not homosexuality. Edit: Wow, P.J. just said this. Sorry. P.S. I am for same-sex mariages.

    Politics Abortion

I very strongly disagree. Women have all the right in the world to criticize a man who kills someone. Even though the baby is inside the woman, that doesn't mean men (and women) can't still disagree with killing it.

    Episode One

I don't think they were injecting him, I think that to infiltrate their drug circle he had to start using drugs. That's why he had the tatoo - to get close enough to the big one to capture him.

    Politics Same-sex Marriages

Leviticus actually does specifically denounce homosexuality, and other places imply it. Interestingly enough, though, the Bible says NOTHING about lesbian relationships. So those who cite the bible as their only reason only stop half of all gays. ;)

    Politics Same-sex Marriages

A few things: a) The catholic church does not acknowledge the bible as the main source of revelation. Thus, the stories of Adam and Eve, as well as all others in the bible, are examined based on historical context and morals. This is what distinguishes contextualists (like catholics) and...
