Thursday at 8pm EST starts a new round of beta, beginning with a stress test from 8-11pm Thursday night and also Friday night.

I had pre-ordered this game but I had second thoughts after I heard it referred to as the "sci-fi Guild Wars". I liked Guild Wars but it just wasn't a mmorpg to me, so I cancelled my order. Luckily FFXII is out in a week, so that'll keep me busy a while.

Upon your advice, I opened up the case and peeked at the card and its fan. It IS running, I just couldn't hear it, except for the initial *whir* it makes when starting up. So all is well!

Remember one thing about their forums.. if you don't have a paid account, you can't access the forums unless you're in "guest mode". You can't sort, you can't read only new posts while logged in as a guest.
