That's what I was thinking. Irina seems to more than she lets on. On the roof top she told sydney she would tell her anything she needed to know. Therefore I think IRina knows more about rambaldi than sloane.

Irina may have lied about Sydney being the one in the prophecy. I said it was an insane speculation.

This might sound insane but, it says that this women will "bind them with furry" could this not be Irina because although she has not physically put forth Rambaldi's works. but she is the main person that is finding a way to bind all the pieces together using other people.
