It should work. I use a higher percentage as a grease and gum remover in my garage. Also works superb for tree sap removal, especially cars. You just need to water wash the area and reapply any sealant and wax you had on there.

Isopropyl alcohol, 70% and above. Spray it on, leave it for a minute and then wipe off. Something like Dawn dish soap also works by breaking down the grease.
