I think that this was SUCH a departure from the Jack we know - even though we all knew this was there underneath his external hard shell - that it made it all that more dramatic. He was SO vulnerable and loving and kind and unguarded and emotional that the drama of how later events changed...

I don't know...It is all very confusing, because remember - Jack's words in this scene were not an exact word-for-word re-enactment of past events - they were a present recreation of that time...so the things he said, while in the context of that time, carry all the experiences he has lived...

Hmmm...it seems that Jack is really torn about whether to tell his secrets to Sydney and he is reasoning it out in his hallucinations...and that at the end he decides to spill...I would love to review all the conversations he had with the "doctor" with the knowledge that it was all going on in...

Interesting that B Vaughn was in Argentina (or at least really really close!) around the year that Nadia was born, was sworn to protect her and she ended up in Argentina... Makes you wonder why Bill and Murdock were really there... and why Bill really shot Murdock... what really happened...
