Favorite TV Shows
By the time my first memories were taking form in this earthly life, in 1947 and 1948, radio was in the first years of its second quarter century. TV was just starting out on its journey for the masses after twenty years of technological development. My parents were in their teens and twenties when they listened to their first radio programs in the 1920s; my grandfather was in his fifties back in those roaring '20s. These two mediums had a major change in peoples' experience.
Book(s) Currently Reading
Perhaps how much one reads is as important as what one reads, although one would not want to press this point too much. Given the fact that we all have different tastes, perhaps the essential question or comment under ”Favorite Books" is not “which books one has read” but “how much,” “when” and “why.” I offer this as a tangential remark for this part of the site to initiate a discussion on books for those inclined.
