    TV What's a good sci-fi show set in the future?

    I would recommend Space Above and Beyond. Like Starship Troopers set in the future but not too 'high tech'. Humans fighting against Aliens, test tube humans, US marines in space what's not to like!

    Games of Thrones = The Princess Bride? Perfect mashup!

    The princess bride is one of those good films which has been forgotten about (I love the poison scene!) because of the name (too similar to princess diaries). So people don't watch it.

    Sci-Fi Stargate vs Star Trek

    I think they are different types of programmes. As Star Trek is galaxy wide like star wars, including planets etc. While Star gate is alot 'smaller'. I prefer galaxy wide stories as there is alot to get your teeth into.
