    FFXIII

Yeah, this whole FFXIII thing looks a little funky. I was checking Square-Enix's site just yesterday for E3 announcements when I saw this title. Oddly enough, it seems that its going to be seperated into 3 different games - one of which is going to be for mobile phones. <_< FFVI ftw indeed...

    New to MMOs? RPGs?

I was actually considering trying out Ultima Online about a month ago. Sounded like it had some wonderful sandbox style mechanics, plus it sounded more challenging than the current crop of mmos. So I started reading reviews, and a lot of people were saying how much better it was before (EA?)...

    New to MMOs? RPGs?

I'm intrigued about Shadowrun. I've never played the tabletop version, but I have played a game with that title for the snes. Interesting gameplay, but more importantly it had an interesting setting. It was definately cyberpunk, but it had stuff like dwarves, orcs and voodoo. I'm curious how...

    'Boss' Encounters!

Okay, I'm not exactly responding with a new boss idea, but I would like to see cooler drops. For one thing, I'm one of those people who get annoyed seeing a rabbit I just killed drop 10 gold and a small dagger (despite the rabbit never having tried to bribe me for its life or stab my ankle)...

    Weapons

I feel the reason that a lot of mmos require monks to use weapons is because of their timesink design. The whole "unarmed combat" idea goes against this, because this means you wouldn't waste a few hours (or more, depending on the game) just to scrape of enough funds for weapons you'll outgrow...

    New to MMOs? RPGs?

Look on the bright side - thanks to your cousin now your account and Killarai have more post points than they would have had otherwise.

    New to MMOs? RPGs?

What about Chainmail? It wasn't exactly a dungeon crawler like D&D, but a bunch of the rules you mentioned (like AC and stuff) actually came from that game. It was sorta a precursor to D&D. It was a table top war game, sorta like Warhammer. Anyway, Gary Gygax and some other dude (can't...

    What game are you playing?

My chums and I have all agreed to acquire and play Baldur's Gate II. Only one of us has played it at all (a few years ago) but it sounds like an awesome way to play a D&D styled game over the internet - with graphics O.o We'll probably play it until we beat it and the expansion all the way...

    HJ names

I'm actually looking forward to the Eragon movie coming out this year. Its a pity more people haven't touched the series (out of everyone I know, only 1 other person has even heard of them - the chick who introduced me to the series :( ). I'll check out this From the Two Rivers series - never...

    Gunz: The Duel

Its a wonderful game. I played it when it first came out, and it was most excellent. It had some really bad stuff though, like horrid load times, freezes, etc. Plus, there were a bunch of hackers who did all sorts of nasty stuff. I played it again about 2 months ago, and much of it was...

    The Nemesis system...

There is one thing that makes me curious. Will other people be able to see your nemesis? Or is gonna be one of the instanced places, only solo only? It'd sorta be cool and strange at the same time to meet up with plenty of people in game, group with them, then start encountering multiple...

    What's your opinion on piracy?

Arr! *waves around cutlass* I be plunderin' all manner o' snes, nes, gba, genesis, and neo geo pocket games thanks to me emulations! Why? I'm too lazy and too cheap to hunt down rare titles in real life, then buy them for craploads of money. Even worse, a lot of crazy oldschool goodies never...

    Your first....

Computer: No clue, I was about 3 when we got it. The OS was windows 3.2 though. Console: NES (Unless you include handhelds - then it would be the original gameboy) MUD: Some funky one based off of Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy RPG: FFIII (American Version) FPS: Goldeneye 64 RTS...

    Death system confusion...

Would you like to join us? We're pretty hardcore. When ever you die you gotta delete your character, hit yourself with a baseball bat and/or take a tazer to yourself. On the upside, we go out for ice cream sundays every weekend. :P

    Houses

Urgh. Sorry, but it annoys me when people have info I don't but won't tell me what it is <_< (NDA be darned!). I guess thats a good assurance though, and gets us one step closer to the truth though, so thanks. I think houses should be expensive as heck - that should cut down on sprawling...
