Round and oval are female, horshoe for dudes so you don't have to lift the lid.Why do some toilet seats have a horseshoe seat while others have a round or oval shape

My wife's church does a toy drive each year in cooperation with a local organization that works with youths. There was some concern if any of their members would be able to take time off during the week to transfer the toys from the church to the org' so I volunteered since I have vacation time to burn off.
Lesson Learned: Make sure you scope out the size of the toy pile before volunteering to see if the pile will actually fit in your truck or not!
It's a little cramped in there at the moment but I avoided having to make two trips. It's a guy thing, like carrying groceries from the car to the house, we don't like making multiple trips.

Hello kindred spirit. I stop at least 4 nights a week after work for groceries. I buy small amounts each time, because I'd rather have finger nails yanked out then make 2 trips to the house.

Earthquake in Dover, DE today! Shook the entire Philly region.
4.1 magnitude earthquake hits near Dover, Delaware
At that spot I'm in (burbs' outside of Philly) we get some rumblings but today was pretty big for the area. The USGS is recording it as a 4.1 quake, the prior record for DE was 3.8 back in 1973.

We get a few in DFW, pretty funky since our area is supposed to be earth quake free, my college science teacher was wrong, derp!

An Old Friend
I stopped into the post office today to buy a book of forever stamps. While I was waiting in line I was looking at all the stuff hanging on the walls. On the end, near the door, there was a bulletin board with a sign asking if
"Are These Yours?"
On it there were a few pairs of sunglasses, a pair of reading glasses and a necklace.
All normal stuff that people might forget at the counter.
What really made me laugh out loud was the fact that there were two, not one but two, sets of car keys with house keys on the rings.
How distracted do you have to be to leave your car keys at the post office?
What really got me was the fact that it has happened at least twice.
I mean, you had the keys in your hand because you used them to get to the post office.
You put them down and absent-mindedly forget them.
When you go back out to the car, what do you do?
Walk home?
I know what you're thinking but it has obviously happened twice in one community at a post office that is at a rural location.

Last Year...
The activity caused a snow-slide that wrecked my gutters,
His sleigh rails ripped my shingles and the ceiling started leaking,
He left soot stains all thru the family room,
Left a dirty milk glass and cookie plate for me to pick up
And tore the top off my old maple tree at the end of the house.
This Year...
I have a 30/30 with a night vision scope,
Gunna bag me a Santa and stock my freezer with some reindeer.

I "had" a pretend I-net Colorado buddy in dirt bike chat, which I was booted from, show me his snow blower thingy? I was huge, he even got out of it while it was doing its thing. The gent was loaded, $$$, he has tonnage of vehicles, he was a wee bit arrogant, but hey it goes with the territory. His snow blower might have been for commercial use? But it was huge....Its 70f down in cowboy land.....

Dunno if this qualifies as sci-fi or sci-fact, but I hear tell Merica has a new super sonic airliner coming out in 3 yrs? Not sure but I cant wait. Now if we could just get the 1999 eagle built id be a happy camper!
