New Research Launches to Space Station Aboard SpaceX Resupply Mission

The two-stage Falcon 9 launch vehicle lifts off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station carrying the Dragon resupply spacecraft to the International Space Station. Robby my robotic brother, I know you cant respond, but in that picture there is a trail of something flying over that launch site? I pretty sure the FAA notifies pilots to steer well clear of said sites, really strange......

Got it ol' boy, t-38 I see, going below the speed of sound, to well past the speed of sound, jets are truly fast vehicles. I dig the A-4, F-4, and the classic f-104 star fighter, a jet that is all engine, and tinky little wings, lol, strap on a rocket pack anyone? Haaaaaa

THE OSIRIS-REx mission will map and return samples from asteroid Bennu, a carbon-rich hunk of rock that might contain organic materials or molecular precursors to life. OSIRIS-Rex is expected to reach Bennu in August, 2018. (More at NASA Picture of The Day)
