Broken Cosmos trilogy - Ian Kennedy

Yeah it does help with seeing if anything sounds wrong. It works not just for errors but clunky sentences and inconsistencies. I find it much easier than reading it myself (which I still do), because my eyes and brain can get lazy and gloss over things.

Broken Cosmos trilogy - Ian Kennedy

Thanks for reading! Recently (a few weeks ago) I actually made some changes and checked the manuscripts again (by listening through them this time with text to speech) to fix some spelling errors and such. So I apologise if when you read it you had to deal with errors. There were still a few...

Broken Cosmos trilogy - Ian Kennedy

This is embarrassing, but necessary. I wrote and spell checked the manuscripts on Office 2007, and It said there were no errors. I have recently got Office 365 and re-checked the manuscripts. There were some errors that Office 2007 did not pick up. I have corrected them. My apologies to those...

    Hello!

Sorry if I offended you. I realise I snapped at you a bit, but I've had a hard past few days. Oh well...

    Hello!

I'm not leaving or anything. I just meant that I can't instantly reply to people (ironic really as that's what I'm doing right now) I don't get the picture...

    Hello!

No, I just have other things to do rather than look at scifi fora all day. I'm also not going to play a "rate this woman" competition.

What Are You Reading Right Now?

Yeah @Kevin I totally understand. I love a good physical book too. I wasn't saying that's wrong. In fact reading on a screen for me is hard too. I was just saying that I have been forced to go digital due to living in Australia. I hope you liked Florida Station: Broken Cosmos Volume 1! If you...

    Hello!

I do love The Young Ones. I can do a pretty good Neil voice...and Vyvyan for that matter. Can't say I've seen the Benny Hill show. It looks funny. And quite like the Two Ronnies which I have seen quite a lot of.

What Are You Reading Right Now?

I'm glad to hear you're liking my book series, @Kevin . (Can I ask what chapter you are up to?) Yeah sorry it's not in print. I'm trying to work on that. It's the problem of living in Australia and most print on demand places not distributing to us here, but I might have found something...I...

    Hello!

Thanks! This is a scene from Black Books where Bernard Black (right - the owner of the book store) and his assistant Manny (left) are house sitting and get stuck into the wine. It's from one of the best episodes called "Grapes of Wrath" And this is Black Books where Bernard and Manny are...

    Hello!

Yep that was To the Manor Born. Peter Bowles and Penelope Keith

    Hello!

Ah yes, To the Manor Born is good too. Have you seen "The Irish RM"? It's another Peter Bowles light comedy about a resident magistrate in Ireland around the start of the 20th century or the end of the 19th century. It's good. I don't really watch tonight shows. I know about them, I just don't...

    Hello!

Nice! I know most of those shows and they're all good. Yes, Minister is especially witty and applies to today as much as it did in the 1980s. Your grandfather looked like Paul Eddington? Amazing! That would have been cool! Black Adder is also classic. Not wanting to be offensive but I don't find...

    Hello!

Hahaha, that's great. Was that ever a full film or is there just that preview? I do have a sense of humour. I particularly like British humour like the Goon Show or Monty Python, or in a more modern way, Black Books; stuff like that. None of them is sci-fi though. Space Balls is great too! Star...

    Hello!

Yeah that's cool. The film Annihilation could be something like that. I haven't seen it but it sounds something like that. The thing is, almost everything has been told in one way or another before. You just have to find your own way of telling that same story. No one expects you to reinvent...
