#1 Video Game Console

OK, I'll be old geezer and ask.... does a Nintendo DS really count as a console?

When I think of the term "console" I think of the traditional box designs that need to connect to a TV or other video display device. PlayStation, X-Box, Nintendo Wii as consoles, but Sony PSP, Nintendo DS, Sega GameGear, and others would be handhelds.

I'm happy with my Xbox 360, it has games exclusives I like playing like the Gears of War and Forza games and I love playing Battlefield 2. I've never played a PS3 so I can't say anything good or bad about it but from what I've seen it does some things better than the 360 but others things the 360 is better for. I use my console solely for games.

Personally I've always thought that gaming consoles are overrated.
I prefer to play games on the PC.

Even though I must admit that I haven't really played anything for a long time so perhaps things have changed...
