When it comes to sci-fi dystopian classics, these two books stand out as iconic. And I want to know which book you all prefer and why. Personally, I choose 1984, because the world George Orwell created in this book was vivid, and I could see more parallels of our current society in it than in Brave New World.

With the two novels set hundreds of years apart, how about 1984 being a pre-cursor to Brave New World?
