I HOPE PALMER IS ALIVE lol. i wonder what plan b is?
He must be because Dennis Haysbert will be back (see above post, his name in red).
;)

Now zap2it reports that Wendy Crewson is joining 24 for about 1/3 of the episodes next season. -- Alias connection: Victor Garber worked with her on a series of TV movies . . .
;)

I also read somewhere that apparently the series picks up a few years later and that Palmer will be seeking re-election.

I also read though that Kim would be helping her dad on his mission. ;)

Yeah. Kim's supposed to work at CTU now! So, hopefully, no more silly cougar plotlines for her!
:P

lol, one would hope not, but that girl always manages to get into the wierdest situations. How much do you want to bet she'll be the one who'll be held for randsom at some point during the day. ;)

Talk about dedication . . . Here's the latest from TV Guide online:

MARKED MAN: Here's some scoop from the new issue of TV Guide magazine, on sale now: Kiefer Sutherland has made a lifetime commitment to 24 — and he's even gone so far as to seal the deal in ink! This season, his counterpart, Jack Bauer, will sport a tattoo on his forearm as part of an undercover operation. But instead of having the show's makeup artists draw on the symbol every week, Sutherland took matters into his own, um, arm, and had it permanently applied himself! In related news, Fox Entertainment President Gail Berman is considering having the words "24 Spoilers Bad" tattooed on both her hands.

;)

Finally something for Kim to do! I think Pres. Palmer might be disabled or blind, deaf, something like that.
Nah, apparently he comes out unscathed, so he's ok.

Another tidbit from zap2it:

Thompson Returns to Drama on '24'
(Monday, August 18 09:37 AM)

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Andrea Thompson, who left "NYPD Blue" to pursue a career as a news anchor, will return to series drama this fall with a recurring role on FOX's "24."

Thompson will play Nicole Duncan, a a technical specialist brought in by CTU to help stop what FOX promises will be an "ominous terrorist threat." Past CTU technical specialists, including those played by Sara Gilbert and Eric Balfour, have had only limited luck, either dying fast or vanishing without a trace at inopportune moments.

The Emmy-nominated "24" will return for season three with a commercial-free episode airing on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Thompson's multi-episode arc will begin on Nov. 11.

After playing detective Jill Kirkendall on "NYPD Blue" from 1996 to 1999, Thompson left the show and went to work as an anchor at a local station in New Mexico. Soon she joined CNN as an anchor of its Headline News programming, a move that received decidedly mixed reviews. Just as suddenly as she left her ABC drama, Thompson ditched CNN in 2002.

Thompson's other television credits include stints on "Falcon Crest," "Babylon 5" and "JAG."

;)
