Alias is the hottest new drama of the year. Now, for the first time, fans have an authorized all-access behind-the-scenes look at the making of the smash TV show, with reflections and anecdotes that readers won’t find anywhere else–from cast members, writers, and creator/executive producer J. J. Abrams. Includes never-before-seen photos and a complete, detailed episode-by-episode insider guide to the series, along with a guidebook to the amazing gadgets and top-secret pages torn from the SD-6 handbook.

I bought the book and just loved it from cover to cover. I finished it in 5 days. It'd make a great addition and reference.

lol. me too. I loved every word and picture of it! I bought on my way to my grandparents house and they live 3 and a half hours away, I had nothing to do in the car so I read it then!

I know. The fun never ends. I especially like looking at the pictures.

I wish there was a bit more on the DVD. But watching the interviews is fun to do. Anybody know what game you can play from it? It says you have to have a DVD Drive on your PC to play the game, which unfortunately, I don't have.

i thought i remembered the games being links to the online game and the underground game....then again i may be mistaken..it's been a while since i watched the dvd part. luv reading the book over and over too though! lol.

What is the DVD on it about haven't checked out the DVD part out yet..
I am starting to read it and it is a amazing book!

NEW YORK, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Random House Children's Books'
Bantam Books imprint has acquired the rights to publish original
novels and the official companion based on the hit ABC television
show ALIAS. Since the show's debut in September 2001, ALIAS has
gained tremendous popularity and critical support from its viewers.
It is the number one ranked show in its Sunday night time slot for
women ages 18-54, and the second ranked among teenagers and male
viewers ages 18-54. Both ALIAS: DECLASSIFIED, the official companion,
and ALIAS: RECRUITED, the first book in the fiction series will have
initial print runs of 100,000 to meet the expectations of the show's
dedicated fans. The nationwide on sale date for both titles will be
October 8, 2002, during which the highly anticipated second season of
the show will be underway.

ALIAS: DECLASSIFIED is a 224-page trade paperback that offers fans an
all-access, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the smash
television show, with reflections and anecdotes not found elsewhere.
The book, written by Mark Cotta Vaz, carries a suggested retail price
of $16.95. The first print run of the companion will also include a
DVD containing exclusive ALIAS materials, such as cast interviews and
a link to an online ALIAS game.

"Secret lives, cliffhanger endings, pulsating intrigue, non-stop
action, and the amazing Jennifer Garner as kick-ass Sydney -- what's
not to love?" said Wendy Loggia, editorial director of Media & Series
at Knopf Delacorte Dell Publishing Group. "We're thrilled to have the
ALIAS publishing program on our list here at Bantam, and to have the
opportunity to explore Sydney's early days at SD-6." Loggia acquired
the books in cooperation with Touchstone/ABC, and will edit both the
companion and the series titles.

ALIAS received a 2002 People's Choice Award for Favorite New

thats it !

Yes. the DVD was a little disappointing, but then again, it's a BOOK. so you were buying the book so i wouldnt expect a greaT DVD.
The book however does not disappoint. I loved the drawings and the storyboards.

The DVD comes right in the back of the book. It's on the back cover. And yes, B&N does sell Declassified, I checked to make sure they did by checking their website.

Knowing the style of Alias, if J.J. or another producer/writer was part of the making the DVD, there probably is Easter eggs. But I haven't found any.
