Alias video game maker files for bankruptcy

Acclaim Entertainment, the publisher of the official Alias video games, filed for bankruptcy liquidation on Thursday after failing to line up new financing. Read more at News.com.

The games (for Windows, XBOX, and PS2) are still available at Amazon.com for $25 to $30.

Yeah Charile I posted in the gaming thread at the begining of July that they were facing bankruptcy, and now it seems that they are...

Lets all hope that EA buy them out and spend millions on a new Alias game and make it better (if that's possible)

Yes, we need a new Alias game. The first one was a good start, but definitely fully leverage the potential of the rich world of Alias.

Yeah, this game is really ridiculously simple. For the PS2, there is supposedly a way to turn on Advanced AI. I don't know if anyone has tried that yet. I have an XBox game, and ahve not found the equivalent hack for it.

I'm currently working my way through the Alias game, it's so easy but the voice-overs etc are so cool Please please please we need another Alias PS2 game
