AMC has an amazing hit with "The Walking Dead." The show continues to be the number one watched show in the key 18-49 demographic on all of television. That's right, the show that is on the AMC Channel is more popular than primetime shows on network television. Now imagine that "The Walking Dead," the highest rated show is moved to another channel. That's exactly what the executives at AMC Networks have considered doing.

What do you think of this idea? Bad move/good move?

I think, If its not broken don't mess with it! Not saying it will hurt ratings but It could and that will be bad.

I'd have to agree with @Don, it has achieved success on the main AMC channel and trying to move it off to different channel that some viewers might not even get could see a damper on the ratings.

Thats what happened to CSI Miami , They moved it to a different day and rating dropped big time. So the Canceled it.
