Is that the actresses (can't remember her name at the moment) real accent? Don't get me wrong, I love the Anna character, but her accent drives me nuts. It's like she's trying to hard.

the actress is gina torres. she was born in new york. and i dont know anything about her background, but with a name like torres i doubt that accent is real.

I loved that too, Gina Torres said she Anna's 'parents' were a Russian mother and Cuban father so she sort of needs a Russian 'hardness' with some Cuban passion but she did sound really deadpan! x
