Another help! "TIB browser/dialer"

:( ...Dunno wat's happening to my compu lately....just got over w/ coolwebsearch.....there comes this "TIB dialer" thing.....and my wallpaper just disappears, and then some disgusting porn stuffs are installed in my compu....so sad....i couldn't scan it w/ adaware, and yahoo's anti-spy detects it...claim to remove it but after reboot it's still there.....

Any suggestions on freeware i can remove it?? Thx a million.....

Have you updated your AdAware spyware definitions lately? If not, do that. I looked it up, and it is supposedly covered under AdAware.

TIBDialer is usually used by adult website, and it profiles browsing activities, delivers pop-ups in IE, and sometimes can be used to dial heavy-rates long distance numbers through your computer.

Good Luck

Thx...but actually i've scanned the computer with Ad-aware with the latest definitions, the TIB dialer thing is founded, and i removed those components found in adaware, however after i reboot, those stuffs are still there...is it bcoz the dialer is installed in somewhere like i cannot delete or sth?? :P if u know wat i mean....anyways.....thx for ur help~~ ;)

Question, c_f. Where are you goin'/what are you doin' to get so much malware?

Everybody's got the idea, though. Never blame the system. The sooner you admit PEBCAK, the closer you are to having a more secure system. Immediately, though, make sure you turn off program installation, Java and ActiveX in IE (re-enable only for Windows Update). Use Firefox or Mozilla (with the AdBlock extension to block shady javascript advertisements that try to serve programs) as your primary browser. Also make sure that you're always running an antivirus and keep the realtime scan on.

Anyway... I'm writing up a little intro guide for manually finding malware startups, stubs, hijacked (or just fake) system files. Sometimes it's helpful to know how to find em for yourself. Hell, I might just make a whole malware guide. Knowing a few easy things about safe mode and DOS can go a long way to securing a compromised system.

Thx for the advice....i'll dl hijackthis later and get help from u guys....

And btw, actually when i told u that my wallpaper is changed, it is a warning....and then there's a link in the warning "removal instruction"....and so when i try a lot of stuffs trying to remove it, i try to click the link...and then i came to the site....where the top part says...

"you are logged",
stated my ip address,
PROVIDER: n219078168112.netvigator.com,
BROWSER: Mozilla/4.0

then below there are some paragraphs telling me that my privacy is invaded, everything i do in my compu is been watched....blahblahblah.....and then in the end ask me (force me) to click the "secure yourself now!" thing....i didn't click it....but it seems the warning will stay forever until i click that.....and the company is "smary security".....did any of u come across with this weird thing?? if so plz tell me wat to do now~~ thx
