Any journalism people out there?

i am doing a story for my school newspaper about the new textbooks that we got this year and i cant think of a good, catchy lead-in. got any ideas?
 
erm.... how about "They're shiny, they're heavy, and they haven't been scribbled in (yet). What are they? They're our new textbooks!"

:lol: best I could come up with in two minutes. :D ^_^
 
I am a high school student who is planning on being a journalist in the future. I would give you better lead-ins but this is all I can think of of the top of my head, so they may be pretty weak:


:smiley: "Got Books?" Yah, we do
:smiley: Out with the old, in with the new
:smiley: Old School might be "in" with fashion, but with books it's all about new
:smiley: New textbooks means "no excuse" for that curse word on the back when you return them next year
:smiley: Isn't it funny how old school is in now, so those old textbooks with the afroes are actually like "new" now? (Probably to long for a headline)
