This episode recindled an old theory of mine... that ARVIN SLOANE IS SYDNEY'S REAL FATHER!!! I can't really recall if jack has ever called sydney 'daughter' or referred to her as 'my daughterb' but really thats a mut point. The real tell is those candid moments between jack and irena, and those between sloane and sydney. Tonight irena and jack were talking about sloane, then immediately following, irena says "i never did thank you... for raising OUR daughter." Of course you're forced to think that OUR means jack and irena... i think she meant herself and sloane! This, plus the fact that sloane and irena seemed quite friendly at the end of the episode... Of course this is an idea which has been building... at the end of season 1, sydney asked sloane if he'd ever wanted children... and he danced around the topic, but the way he worded his response (if he is her father) was almost as if to say "i wish i could have raised you, sydney, but my job was too demanding..." Then there was the time when sloane said he thinks of sydney like a daughter... its almost too obvious when you consider the KINDS of plot twists they pull on this show, they have to be saving a slam dunk for the later seasons.
