Atlas of the Universe

An Old Friend
An Atlas of the Universe is a multilingual site that explores known space. I was so impressed with this site I e-mailed the owner and told him so.
At ONE BILLION Light Years it shows the structures of the known galactic superclusters. This is what inspired a post I made on my SciFiDreamers group about SuperString Travel.
At the limits of known space: 14 BILLION Light Years from the Sun, the image is a sphere. Does anyone know why?
Richard Powell even includes a section on Negative Images. Do you know why he would do that? Answer: To print
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. :worthy:
