Hmmm....well this is almost like the book of the week/month, whatever it is, but I like it anyways...

LOL...thinking of those two books, I remember reading the backs of both of them and I liked the sound of a secret history better. It sounded like suspense....any farther on it? :lol:

'tis only about 200 pages. it's a little book. ^_^

it was good! so, so good! and I had to do everything to stop myself from crying at the end. all those life lessons, all the aphorisms, everything morrie said, really rings true.

I know! I didn't cry but I was teary. I only cry for movies and such... :lol:

I sorta forgot some of the life lessons because I havne't read it in a looong time... :blink: except of course- to live life to the fullest and how you should appreciate family/friends....

and to create your own culture and how to fully experience emotions so you're able to detach.... I just totally loved it.

oh i loved that one- to not block the emotion and let it in... yeah!

and the thing about the bird or seomthing in budhism... that was neat ^_^

Today, we were assigned Go Ask Alice, as part of our unit of "Self Identity"...I'm 105 pages in on the first day. It is such a disgusting (yet enthralling) book. It really makes me depressed, and I was almost physically sick from it...I just couldn't take it
