Some books seem to convert onto celluloid seemlessly, and then others that you're really excited about fail miserably.
The Sword of Truth adaption to The Seeker tv show made me cry (
), it was sooooo awful. I was really really disappointed by it.
The Dresden Files to TV wasn't awful, but again was disappointing.
True Blood - I prefer the TV show over the books in some respects (Lafayette comes to mind) but I prefer the Eric of the books.
What are you favourite adaptations or which ones do you think could have been done better?
