Started out kinda stupid but it played out pretty well.
Certainly worth many watches.
The elves were pretty cool to see fight.
The film had that Will Smith thing like in Men In Black where he keeps it light and witty.

Netflix has announced that a Bright sequel is already planned with Will Smith returning.

Yeah, that about sums it up. I caught this during my long holiday weekend and thought it was pretty good.

Some of the dialog that fills in the story line goes by too quickly so somebody not paying attention might miss something (like why the Orcs are generally hated, etc.) but it's a streaming title so it's easy to just hit rewind.

I would've liked just a little bit of a history montage of the world in which Bright is set. The presences of Orcs, Elves, Fairies, and magic in the world is referenced back at least a few hundred years, and there was apparently some large battles with the Orcs, so it would've been nice if even a couple of minutes was spent catching viewers up with that background.

Well Kevin, knowing hollyweird and their need for milking anything popular for all they can get, I'm sure we will get backstory prequels, histories and character focus movies.

Will we get a fantasy based Lethal Weapon? A cop buddy series with magic as a focus?

Know this one is getting bad reviews, but still dialled in and had a good time. Not sure if this is one of those guilty pleasure flicks or people are simply jumping on a hate bandwagon. Will definitely be tuning in for the sequel.
