Camp USA/Camp America

Hi everyone!

I've just found out this afternoon that I have been accepted in to the Camp USA program!!!!!!! I'm going to be a camp counselor for Summer 2005!

I was wondering if anyone else has applied or has done the camp counselor thing in the past because I would love to hear your experiences!

I'm really excited cuz I'm from Australia and have never been overseas before!

I have a few friends who did it. I think that the camps are all so different, the experience will really depend on where you go.

The people I know who did it really loved it. The biggest complaint I heard was from somebody who was at a 'rich' camp. She said that sometimes the kids wouldn't listen to anything she said because they thought they were too good. But even so, she had a really good time.

I don't know if you have your booklets and things yet, but you will probably find you won't have to do all of the activities they suggest (like, ask the kids what fruit or vegetable they most want to be ).
