chiam potok books

We read My Name is Asher Lev for school and I enjoyed it.
I liked the Asher- his father relationship. I kept on wanting to sit him down and explain art to him. Asher's dream's were like poems.

I love The Chosen, and I just finished My Name is Asher Lev, which I also really enjoyed. Chaim has spoken at conventions I've been at, he's a great speaker.

I read My Name is Asher Lev this year for school, it was kind of a weird book. I liked it but the ending was weird... There's supposed to be a sequel to this book I think, so I might read that.

I had to read My Name is Asher Lev for freshman year HS Summer reading, and I absolutely ADORED it. *sigh* It's one of the books I want to re-read this summer! :) Ironic that you guys are talking about it, too...

My best friend also happens to be reading The Chosen, and said she likes it a lot. LOL She forgot Potok wrote Asher Lev, too (I had to remind her). But I do own The Chosen (picked it up at a flea market when I saw the author's name), just never read it. I will eventually, tho.

Is there a certain order to the books? Like, should I not have started with Asher Lev? Hmm...

I had to read the chosen for summer reading. It was pretty good...only thing that ruined it for me was the summer reading assignment pressure lol. yeah...good book...
