Synopsis

Act 1

The episode opens with Chuck hanging by his feet, upside-down from the roof of a building with a strange device in his hand. A mysterious man is holding him there. The man asks him who he is. Chuck hesitates for a moment, so the man pulls him up; and holds him by his tie over the side instead.

Chuck confesses that he is Charles Bartowski; and, despite how he looks, is probably one of the most important piece of spy equipment in the world. This appears to humor the man, who doesn't believe him.

Just then, Agent Sarah Walker and Major John Casey burst through the door behind, guns drawn. The man pulls Chuck back in. Sarah asks Chuck why he didn't just stay in the car. Chuck replies that it's never safe in the car, as the mysterious man rappells out the window. Sarah asks if he got The Cipher; Chuck shows her the device in his hand.

Later, Chuck, Sarah and Casey are talking with General Beckman and Graham, who congratulate them on retrieving The Cipher. Chuck asks what The Cipher is; Beckman replies that it is the " artificial brain" for a new intersect; which is almost complete: now that the cypher is in their hands, it will be picked up next day, the new intersect will be ready, and Chuck can have his old life back.

Chuck appears stunned by the news... he returns home in a daze, accompanied by Sarah. He tells Sarah of his relief; citing his earlier experiences as proof that he is not cut out for that kind of work. Sarah tells him that he has the potential to do anything he wanted to. Chuck seems encouraged by her words.

As Casey returns home, he is greeted by General Beckman, who reveals that completion of a new intersect will mean that Chuck is too great of a security risk. She tells Casey to eliminate him once the new intersect is complete. Casey loads his pistol.

Act 2

The next morning at 6:59, Chuck's alarm clock goes off, playing Hip to be Square. He opens his eyes, and gets ready for work, dancing as he does so.

After dressing, he goes to the bathroom. Wiping the steam off the mirror, he notices Captain Awesome and his sister in the shower behind him. Horrified, he turns around, sees more than he wants to, screams "my eyes", and rushes out of the bathroom.

Later, while eating breakfast, he apologizes to Ellie and Awesome; citing that he wasn't paying attention because he's had a revelation... he should be working at a real job, not at the Buy More. Ellie is shocked and very excited; but Chuck is still unsure of himself, brushes off any further questions and hurries to work.

As he enters the Buy More, he is called aside by Morgan, who wants to discuss his plans for an (imaginary) battle against the Large Mart guys. Before they can get too far, Chuck notices Casey walking in and excuses himself. When he is out of earshot, he grabs Casey's arm, and thanks Casey for keeping him safe during his time as the intersect. Suddenly, Big Mike calls Chuck into his office.

Big Mike offers Chuck the assistant manager's position at the Buy More: the second-in-command position. Big Mike confesses that he doesn't like his employees because they scare him, which is why he isn't around all the time. Chuck hesitates in his answer, which prompts Big Mike to ask "so, Chuck, do you want the assistant manager's position or not!"

The episodes cuts to Chuck exiting Big Mike's office a few minutes later. Morgan, Jeff, Lester and Anna, waiting outside, congratulate him on getting the assistant manager's position. To everyone's disappointment, Chuck says that he didn't take the job. When prompted in private, he explains to Morgan that he doesn't want to work at the Buy More forever. Morgan is quite disappointed, asking "but where will we work then?"; but Chuck cannot answer. To change the subject, Chuck explains that his "punishment" is to choose the employee to be the next assistant manager.

Later, Chuck goes to see Sarah at her new place of employment, the Orange Orange. He asks her why she quit the Wienerlicious. Sarah tells him that she didn't like it there, partly because she went home smelling of mustard and grease.

Getting down to business, Chuck asks Sarah on a real date, with "no guns". Sarah expresses doubt that a relationship between them will work, but accepts anyway.

As Chuck and Sarah get ready for their date, Casey gets ready to kill Chuck. Apparently to psyche himself up, he puts pictures of well-known villains on a rotating device, and proceeds to shoot the pictures in the forehead. However, when Chuck's picture appears, he misses, and shoots the wall beside the pciture. Casey appears surprised and slightly disturbed by this.

Back at the Bartowski residence, Ellie asks Chuck what he would like to do instead of working at the Buy More. Chuck says that he is not sure, but he would like to finish college, travel or maybe "learn a language that only cool people know". Just then, Morgan rings the doorbell. Chuck answers it, and the two talk about Morgan's new strategy against the Large Mart employees.

Meanwhile, Casey's doorbell rings. He uses a hidden camera and weapons scanner to view a delivery man from World Send outside. The scanner reveals no weapons, so Casey opens the door. The delivery man explains that he is supposed to pick something up from Casey. Realizing that the delivery man is there to pick up the Cipher, Casey asks for a confirmation code. The man's answer seems to satisfy Casey, who places it in the delivery man's waiting box. As the delivery man closes the box, he flashes a devious smile, whips out a can and sprays Casey in the face with a smoky substance. Casey falls to the ground, apparently unconscious.

The mysterious man from the opening sequence is seen in a car speaking with the delivery man through a headset. He flips through a picture of Casey, and moves on to two pictures of Chuck and Sarah, respectively. He tells his men to eliminate the other targets.

Chuck arrives at Sarah's door, and the two leave. As the door closes, the camera focuses on Sarah's gun, which she has left on a table.

Act 3

Chuck and Sarah are eating at a Chinese restaurant. Sarah comments on how good the food is, and asks Chuck how he found the place. Chuck admits that Morgan recommended it to him.

As the couple eats, Chuck reveals to Sarah that he is quite attracted to her. He compliments her abilities as an agent, her fighting skills, her beauty and her intelligence. The feelings appear to be mutual, as Sarah tells him that he is sweet, and "not that bad" himself. Chuck tells her that he is "not just great; [he's] fantastic".

Cutting back to Casey's apartment, Casey, bleeding from the face, pulls himself across the floor. He fumbles with a picture frame to retrieve an antidote in an epi-pen, which he uses by stabbing himself in the chest with it. He then hits a hidden button, activating a chemical shower hidden in the overhead light. He breathes a sigh of relief as the water washes off the chemical he was just sprayed with.

Back at the restaurant, Chuck asks Sarah what will happen to her after she is done her duty watching out for him. She tells him that she will probably be assigned to a new case in a remote location. The conversation makes it apparent that Chuck wants to stay near her at any following assignments.

Moments later, as Chuck and Sarah lean forward to share a kiss, Chuck flashes on three separate people at the restaurant; much to his dismay. Sarah notices, and asks what is wrong. Chuck tells her that they are surrounded, as the patrons of the restaurant get up and descend upon them, pulling out their concealed firearms.

The mysterious man from the beginning of the episode appears and introduces himself as Mr. Colt. He demands that they come with him. They resist, but Colt tells them that he was hired and doesn't want to argue; as his employers give him the "heebie-jeebies". Sarah activates a tracking device in Chuck's watch.

Seeing an opportunity, Sarah tries to surprise them by using a pair of chopsticks as a weapon, but her attempt fails because Mr. Colt is quick to react and much stronger than she is.

Just then, a car outside screeches it's tires and drives through the front windows of the restaurant, dispatching the bad-guys in the process. The driver of the car turns out to be Casey, who opens the door and tells them to get in. However, Colt and his cronies are quickly recovering from the surprise: as Casey directs Chuck and Sarah into the car, Mr. Colt punches him in the face. Casey drives off amid a hail of gunfire.

Casey reveals that the Cipher has been lost; and Sarah expresses her disappointment that she did not have the time to find out who Colt was working for. Chuck's elation from being rescued quickly turns to surprise as he hears of the stolen the Cipher, then disappointment as he realizes that his days as the intersect are not yet over.

Act 4

The next morning at 6:59, Chuck's alarm clock goes off, playing The Power of Love. He opens his eyes, and dejectedly gets ready for work.

At the Buy More, Morgan hands the list of résumés he has compiled. He promises to help Chuck choose the next assistant manager. They go to the back of the store, where the candidates, Anna, Jeff and Lester are waiting.

With Morgan at his side, Chuck begins to interview the first candidate, Anna. We are shown humorous clips of Chuck's interviews with the different candidates: a few moments into the first question, Anna requests that Morgan leave, explaining later that she just wanted to make him nervous; Jeff's résumé is scrawled in red marker on the back of a napkin (Morgan refuses to touch the napkin, preferring to handle it with tongs); Lester's only notable project is a page about himself on Wikipedia.

Eventually, Casey bursts into the room, throwing Morgan out. He's about to tell Chuck something, when Chuck flashes on the shape of the bruise that Mr. Colt gave him the night before. Chuck recognizes an emblem, which Mr. Colt had engraved on his ring, as being from a secret organization that have a hideout in town. Casey decides to call in a special NSA task force; telling Chuck to stay behind at the Buy More.

By this time, Morgan has recovered, and both watch as Casey runs out of the store. Chuck wants to accompany Casey and Sarah on their raid; but Morgan wants to finish the task of choosing the new assistant manager. Chuck, distracted, tells Morgan that it's up to him to choose. Without waiting for a response, Chuck leaves the store, while Morgan asks him if that's really a good idea.

Chuck walks in to Sarah's new place of employment just as Casey and Sarah are getting ready. They again refuse Chuck's help, ordering him to go back to the Buy More while they take care of the task.

Meanwhile, Morgan has decided to set up a cage-wrestling match between the potential candidates for the assistant manager's position; and they are warming up.

Reluctantly, Chuck returns to the Buy More; but, to his surprise, there are no employees to be seen. As Chuck surveys the empty store, Big Mike appears, telling him that he got a call for Nerd Herd help, but he cannot find any employees. Chuck volunteers to take the call, which satisfies Big Mike because the caller requested Chuck himself.

Meanwhile, Casey, Sarah and the task force storm the hideout, but it is deserted. The agents and the task force are confused, and decide to look around the building further.

At this point, Chuck has reached his destination. He knocks on an apartment door to find Mr. Colt waiting for him on the other side.

Act 5

Chuck, visibly nervous, asks what the problem is. Mr. Colt explains that Chuck has seen his face, and heard his voice, and is therefore a risk to him. Chuck offers to forget Mr. Colt, citing that he once forgot his sister's birthday once. As Chuck is speaking, he notices the cypher in Mr. Colt's briefcase, which is open on the table.

Suddenly, Chuck has an idea. He tells Mr. Colt and his men that he is really Charles Carmichael, a CIA agent, and the trap that Mr. Colt has lured him into is really a trap for him. Explaining, Chuck rattles off a list of people he claims have surrounded the building.

Chuck's sudden change in demeanor and confidence in his story unnerve Mr. Colt's men, who begin to look through the windows for said task force. However, Mr. Colt is not convinced, so Chuck whips out his iPhone, and calls Morgan, who is cheering on his fellow employees in the wrestling match he organized. Chuck asks Morgan to give him the battle plan specifications, which Morgan lists off, exactly as Chuck had moments before. Morgan also adds that he "took out one guy already", and "[the guy's] head exploded like a watermelon".

Upon hearing this, Mr. Colt's men start to panic, as one of their own had left moments earlier to "go to the can". Seizing the opportunity, Chuck takes The Cipher, and escapes. During his escape, however, he runs in to Mr. Colt, who throws him through a window to subdue him.

Moments later, Chuck is again being held, upside-down, from the roof of the building by Mr. Colt. Again, Sarah appears from behind. This time, however, Mr. Colt has had enough of Chuck, and lets go of him. Apparently believing he is dead, Sarah becomes extremely angry, and begins to fight Mr. Colt. However, Chuck is saved by Casey, who is leading a team up the fire escape below and grabs hold of his hand as he falls past.

Meanwhile, Mr. Colt and Sarah are still fighting. She does not notice Mr. Colt's team, who have surrounded them. When she notices, it is too late to escape, so she stops fighting. As Mr. Colt gloats, however, the group are surrounded by Casey's NSA task force, who subdue and arrest Colt and his men. Chuck, acting as Charles Carmichael, retrieves the cypher and brags about "his" task force to Mr. Colt before they are led away.

Act 6

Later, Chuck prepares for his second date with Sarah. He tells Ellie that he's decided to cook for Sarah a dish their father taught him. Ellie mentions that their father couldn't cook. Chuck jokes about the "Hamburger Helper" that he's using.

Meanwhile, at Casey's apartment, General Beckman reminds Casey that her order to eliminate Bartowski still stands. Although Casey attempts to plead for Chuck's life, the General assures him that Chuck will die with honor, protecting his country's secrets.

At the same time, the CIA director and a group of agents ready the new intersect. The director installs the Cipher and initializes the system. The director puts on a pair of sunglasses as the agents remove theirs. The Intersect begins it's start-up.

We cut back to Casey, who begins his mission to eliminate Chuck. He breaks in to Chuck's house through his window.

As the intersect finishes booting, the screen blanks and displays a message: "Fulcrum thanks you"; before the Cipher destroys the intersect in a fiery explosion.

Just as Casey is about to shoot Chuck, Chuck's doorbell rings. It's Sarah, who tells him the date is off: he's still the only Intersect. The new one has been destroyed by the Cipher, which was a Trojan horse.

The next day, Chuck is back at the Nerd Herd booth, looking dejected. Lester appears, dressed as the new assistant manager. He attempts to reprimand Chuck, because he has not had any compliments about Chuck's work. Chuck blows him off.

Morgan appears and tells Chuck not to feel so bad; in his opinion, Chuck is destined for great things. Morgan then tells Chuck of a bet he has made with Jeff: whether Jeff can eat ninety twinkies in under eight minutes. Chuck, excited, follows Morgan to the back of the store. As they run past Casey, Chuck excitedly tells him "Ninety twinkies in under eight minutes!". Morgan adds "Jeff might die!"; prompting him to follow them to the back room.

Synopsis

Arriving at the Buy More, Chuck tells Casey how disappointing it is that he was suppose to be free from the Intersect and the government. Casey tells him that until they can rebuild the Intersect, he's not leaving the Buy More anytime soon. Chuck asks if the Intersect has a computer problem that he can help with but Casey answers it was blown into a million pieces, along with Director Graham. Meanwhile, Lester is on a power trip as the new Assistant Manager. He makes it clear that he is going to be running the Buy More with an iron fist.

(More Huey Lewis soundtrack) – Sarah shows up in slow-motion at the Buy More in a 'Phoebe Cates-in-Fast Times at Ridgemont High'-type fantasy sequence. Sarah kisses him, tells Chuck that there's a national emergency. They head to yogurt shop – it turns out that they've created a underground bunker inside the shop. Surprised, Chuck asks if the government is planning a permanent residence in Burbank. General Beckman, appearing on a computer screen, states that it all depends on him. Moving onto briefing, she states that the real Cipher is still out there. They think it might be in the possession of Sasha Banacheck, a former KGB agent (Melinda Clarke). She might be in town to sell it. Casey suggests torture to get it out of her, only for Beckman to shoot it down, stating that Sasha spent seven years in a Bulgarian prison and she didn't crack under pressure. They are going to need the help of another agent, who knows everything about Sasha and put her away – Roan Montgomery (John Laroquette). Roan, apparently, hates Casey, flunked him twice in operatives training. He's off the grid now, so they need to use the Intersect to find him. Chuck storms out – he wants nothing to do with the spy stuff anymore, with all the dangling off buildings, guns pointed at his head and his life put in danger. Sarah chases after him, telling him that the faster they get the Intersect out of the way, the faster he can lead whatever life he wants, with whoever he wants – Sarah is flirty while saying this, and it convinces Chuck.

Chuck flashes on Roan's picture – he lives in Palm Springs. And he's a player, a ladies man, a real James Bond type. He's a legend, apparently, though Casey thinks he's overrated. Sarah asks him what was the class he was in; Casey answers Infiltration and Inducement of Enemy Personnel ("Seduction School"). They show up at his house, and find him passed out under his bed – a hot stewardess is also there, one of Roan's conquests.

Meanwhile, Captain Awesome and Ellie keep having some problems. Awesome hasn't taken Ellie out on the town for a long time. Ellie is jealous of Chuck and Sarah.

Getting briefed again, Sarah and Casey tell Beckman about Montgomery's situation – he's a drunk. Finally, Montgomery shows up, dapper as hell. He gives a sly greetings toward Beckman, to which she reciprocates. He then says that Sasha has to be seduced. Casey volunteers but Roan, calling him Agent Frankenstein, says that they need someone not CIA, someone no one would expect – like Chuck.

Lester gives Chuck some grunt work. He leaves instead and is told his mission – he has to seduce Sasha. To do that, Roan gives him a crash course in seduction. Awesome shows up at the Buy More, gets tips for a romantic evening with Ellie from Morgan. Morgan knows a whole lot more about Ellie than Awesome does, it turns out. Awesome is a little bit taken aback.

Roan keeps giving advice – he tells Chuck to try out his seduction methods on Sarah. But first, he must first kiss Sarah. He finally does and it is quite passionate. Sarah is into it. Roan is impressed – he gathers that that was not the first kiss those two have shared.

Pre-conquest, Chuck is dressed very well. Sarah gives him a pep talk. Roan drops a bomb – Sasha is known as the Black Widow because she kills all her mates. Chuck needs a gun. Lester gets advice from Big Mike on how to strike fear into the employees – find the wounded gazelle and pounce.

Chuck has Roan in his ear as he enters the bar. Casey is the bartender. Chuck orders two martinis after sitting down with Sasha, who doesn't drink. Whoops. She leaves soon after, goes to the bar. Chuck follows, with Roan's advice to mention St. Tropez and the piano players at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Awesome bases his date on Morgan's advice. Unfortunately, all the night's events revolve around Ellie's eighth grade persona. Ellie is not happy.

Roan spills gin on their surveillance equipment, and they lose contact with Chuck. He is then unable to respond to Sasha, who whispers something to him in French. Sasha, disappointed, leaves. Meanwhile, Chuck overhears Sarah defensively tell Roan that she has no feelings for Chuck, that he is only her asset and that is it. Chuck is distraught over this. Sarah leaps out of the van, heads inside.

Chuck decides that this isn't over. He asks Roan for the fourth prong in his seduction technique – Roan tells him to "be a bastard." Chuck chases after Sasha. He is a bastard and tells it like it is – she will be missing out on the greatest night of love-making she will ever encounter if she goes upstairs alone. And hey – it works. Sasha invites him upstairs for some "passionate love-making." Sarah and Casey watch as the two make out as their elevator door closes.

Chuck enters Sasha's room. He flashes on a knife, and he immediately wants to leave. But, after Sasha comes out of her bedroom, wearing some lingerie, Chuck flashes on her necklace – it's The Cipher. Sarah and Casey approach the room, see the two bodyguards outside the hotel room. Sasha knows what's up – she says hello to Roan via Chuck's earpiece.

Chuck runs out onto the balcony, closes the door. He managed to steal the Cipher from her neck. He tries to climb up to another balcony, but is kicked off. He plummets a number of stories down, but lands on a well-placed mattress by the pool. He runs away. Chuck tries to speak with Sarah, but Sasha and her men have Sarah and Casey tied up. Sasha tells Chuck that if he ever wants to see his partners again, he has to meet her alone tomorrow. Sasha tells him where.

Lester has a late meeting with his employees. He unveils the wheel of misfortune. He chooses Morgan to christen the wheel. He lands on the thin strip that says "You're Fired." Morgan leaves, and then there's a revolt. Everyone walks out, saying they quit.

Roan meets Chuck at his apartment. He tells Chuck that if he shows up tomorrow, there will be three dead agents instead of only two. Chuck tries to convince Roan to help. Roan assures Chuck that Sarah has feelings for him, but asks if she's worth dying for. Chuck says yes, Roan says that never fall in love is the first lesson in being a spy. Chuck storms off.

Chuck tries to contact General Beckman – he can't get a hold of her. Chuck heads to the Buy More and finds that no one is there. It's only Chuck and Lester. Lester begs Chuck to help him. Lester brings the employees back. He says that Morgan can get another spin. They say no one spins. They negotiate a bunch of terms for them to come back. The last one is for Lester to spin the wheel. He does, and ends up getting diaper duty.

Roan shows up at the Buy More, he's ready to help. He wants to know what the plan is. Chuck tells him he wants to just show up with the Cipher. Roan says they need a better plan.

At the shipyard, a package shows up for Sasha. It's a cell phone. When it arrives, it rings, and Chuck tells her a location for the meet – it's the Buy More. Sasha with Sarah, Casey and her cronies show up. Chuck addresses them over the TVs. One of the bodyguards finds Chuck, though, and chases him to the roof. Now that they have Chuck trapped, Sasha figures it's time to kill the hostages. As she's about to shoot, Roan puts a gun to her head, tells the henchmen to drop their weapons. Sasha does, but a fight breaks out. Sasha ends up getting Sarah at gunpoint. She drags Sarah out to her car, followed by Roan and Casey and says that she will kill Sarah if the Cipher is not brought to her. Chuck, on the roof, unhooks a banner and readies to make a leap. He ties it around his waist and jumps. He knocks Sasha down. Good guys win.

Team Bartowski is debriefed at the yogurt shop. They will try to get the intersect repaired, at which point Chuck's "nightmare" will be over. However, Chuck asks Beckman that if the government is going to be staying Burbank, then they should at least be pulling some weight. And by this, he means decorating Ellie and Awesome's apartment in red petals before they arrived home.

Roan says goodbye to Chuck, and gives Chuck some romantic advice – show up at Sarah's house in a white dinner jacket with a bottle of champagne and a single red rose.

Chuck does it, and arrives to find Bryce Larkin in Sarah's room.

Synopsis

We begin the episode with Bryce and Sarah making out against a wall in Bogota, Colombia. Sarah wears very short shorts. They carry a briefcase, Sarah grabs it, and they are chased by Columbian henchman. Bryce is grabbed at gunpoint. Sarah agrees to give the man the suitcase, but then shoots him in the head. Back to present day, and The National is playing (the song “Fake Empire,” which is an awesome song). Chuck walks into the hotel room, and there's Bryce. Chuck walks home, throws his rose away, and is given a pep talk by Ellie and Awesome. Chuck is trying to deal as best he can.

Casey and Chuck head to the Yogurt shop basement to meet Casey for a new mission. A Fulcrum agent stole a chip with classified information. Bryce has learned that debutante Von Hayes (name of a formerly awesome baseball player) has been hired to take the info out of that chip. He's having a party that night. Much to Chuck's chagrin, Bryce and Sarah will be playing a husband and wife. Chuck will be a waiter and try to flash on something. Chuck is dying inside.

The microchip is hidden in the mansion, and Bryce and Sarah will snoop around and find it. Chuck learns that they will accomplish this by being “very affectionate.” At the yogurt shop, Sarah tells Bryce that they should keep things strictly professional this time. Bryce cradles Sarah's hand. Outside, Ellie happens to walk by and see this. It makes her sad.

Bryce, Sarah and Chuck head to Von Haye's party. Sarah is in a ferociously attractive dress. Hayes is an arrogant dude, and toasts himself. Chuck delivers a bottle of wine to Hayes' table, to see if he'll flash. He accidentally spills wine on Hayes' lap while watching Sarah and Bryce dance in an uproariously sexy manner. He then drops a bottle of wine as they make out in front of everyone. Hayes fires Chuck, but before he is escorted out Chuck flashes on the voice of a woman who asks Hayes if he has her microchip. She has killed a number of people, but we don't see her face.

Casey orders Chuck to head back inside to get a look at the Fulcrum agent lady. He hides under a table and watches as the Fulcrum lady shoots Hayes' bodyguard dead. Hayes, panicked, drops his keys. The microchip isn't in his vault, like he's told the agent, but on his keychain. The agent hears Chuck talking to Casey, and points a gun at him. Hayes attempts to make his escape (how'd he get away?), but Bryce and Sarah see him. Sarah decides to try and save Chuck instead, leaving Bryce to go after Hayes, who gets into a silly expensive yellow convertible. Bryce watches as he drives away.

Sarah gets into a shootout with the agent. She gets picked up by a henchman, and before they drive away she drops a high tech grenade on the road. Sarah sees it, pushes Chuck away. He's fine, but she's hurt. The next day, Chuck visits Sarah in the hospital. Bryce loiters outside, incognito. Ellie watches on, appalled that Sarah's ex is acting like a stalker. Awesome decides to take care of it. He cares for Bryce's cut, and then asks about Sarah. He admits to being her ex, playing the cover, but inquires to how serious Chuck and Sarah is. Awesome informs him that they are indeed serious. Sarah is in love with Chuck, he says.

Bryce confronts Chuck outside his house. Bryce is worried about Sarah – she went off mission. Bryce thinks that Sarah's feelings for Chuck will get her killed. Chuck assures Bryce that Sarah knows what she's doing. A henchman shows up at the hospital, is directed towards Sarah's room. Awesome shows up at the house and gives flowers to Chuck – he intercepted them because they were from Bryce. Except, they weren't. Von Hayes sent them to Sarah – he is scared and needs help. Chuck talks to him, plays it off well, and makes sure he still has the chip. He does.

Later, Chuck tells Casey what he's done. He negotiated the return of the chip. Hayes will meet Chuck and Chuck only, he will receive full immunity and...he needs $4.5 million in unmarked bills. That last demand might prove a little difficult.

The henchman dresses as a doctor and checks up on Sarah. He is about to inject Sarah with something that's probably pretty bad, but she sees that his name tag does not match his face, so she beats the felgercarb out of him and asks where his boss is.

Casey, Chuck and Casey are doing the meet up and the train station. Chuck has a large duffel bag with the money, Hayes has the chip. They muck up the exchange, and Hayes runs away when he realizes there are some henchman in the station. Casey runs after Hayes and the henchmen. Hayes runs up the train track, but is surrounded by the thugs for hire. They point their guns at him. Casey and Bryce show up, guns a-blazing. In the middle of the stand-off, Chuck arrives with the duffel of money. He negotiates a deal – the thugs take the money and leave Hayes with them. The thugs happily take the deal and leave.

On the way out, Casey decides to try and go retrieve the money. Chuck and Bryce take Hayes out of the station, but Chuck is taken at gun point by the female Fulcrum agent. Hayes runs away. The lady demands the chip – she'll let Chuck go afterwards. Bryce puts down his weapon, but only after he glances Sarah in the background. Sarah points her gun at the agent, but she can't take the shot. She panics, but Casey is there to save the day. And he got Hayes. And the money. Sarah might be losing it. The National again plays, and it is again awesome.
