I don't know if anyone else has addressed this, but I always thought it weird that in the JTF,everyone wears a badge, except Sydney. Why is that?

I can only assume that it is because she was always making covert entrances to the rotunda, and a badge would blow her cover.

The badge is on the right pocket of the blazer, vaughn is always wearing his in the rotunda but only a few others do (i think)

JG said something about that in the phase one commentary, she just said something like she was special show she didn't need to wear a badge. I think Jack does at some point, so the i'm not sure if the blowing cover thing really works, though it would make sense...
