Cinema or DVD

Which do you prefer, the Cinemas or watching a movie on DVD.

For me, i'm stuck between, i love going to the cinemas, it's a great experience, but i also love watching movies at home, so i can't really choose.

DVD for a number of reasons.

a) I'm unsociable and detest the noise other people make in the cinema
b) I have too many kids and not enough babysitters
c) I like to watch films in the comfort of my own home

It depends on the movie, I guess...

I can't imagine watching Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings on dvd for the first time, some movies deserve a big screen!
But I don't like cinemas when it's too crowded, people are noisy, they move, talk, sneeze... and it's also very expensive.

Depends really...

If I want to properly enjoy the film I will go to the cinema and watch it with friends

However, sometimes I just sit down and want some background noise, so then I will stick a DVD on usually.
