I just watched this. The bulk of the movie is an exercise in morality. As the circle of people gets smaller morality goes out the window. What if Aliens were to choose who should be the final human? It asks the question of us to decide. I found it interesting even tho there wasn't many graphics or action. Its more of a cerebral trip into morality and self-preservation. I liked it.

Tom, I wonder, how many ways are they gonna spin SAW and related titles before they begin to realize that other genres such as comedy and hope based future and science fiction some love?

Weird. As if everyone creating the movies thinks death and gore is the only thing selling.

I noticed this too but there are a few that are fun.
This movie wasn't gory but there was death.
No blood at all - people got zapped with electricity and just fell over.
The focus wasn't on the deaths but on how the living tried to justify that they should live - all verbally.
The group selected who will die next.
In the end you get to see the alien spacecrafts.
