For some odd reason Demolition Man from 1993 has been on Cinemax's schedule rotation lately and, yes, I keep watching it. :P

For those not familiar with it, it stars Sylvester Stallone & Wesley Snipes as a cop & criminal who are frozen in the 90's for crimes they've committed (or believed to have committed). They are thawed out 40 years later only to find themselves in "San Angeles" of 2032, a city born out of rebuilding after the great earth quake finally it the Los Angeles area. In this planned city violence is nearly non-existent, commercial jingles are considered to be oldies music, toilet paper has been replaced by three sea shells, and the IQ of everybody seems to have reduced way down. In this future city Sandra Bullock is a cop that is obsessed with the past.

Yes, it's a dumbed down Stallone sci-fi action movie but can be enjoyable if you are just looking for a 'popcorn movie' to watch.
