Show information in first post provided by The Movie Database
I've started watching Demon Slayer out of curiosity as my niece and her friends, all pre-teens, are totally obsessed with it. Anything & everything to do with Demon Slayer, it's all they're interested in.

I'm about 15 episodes in to the first series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and I'm still baffled as to why a bunch of kids would find this series more attention grabbing than other shows. Content wise, it's teenagers fighting demons who literally eat people so lots of blood & violence. Animation style it's your typical dark anime style and not the bright & simple animation of shows like Pokemon or Dragonball.

I don't get it, what do kids find interesting about this one?
