I think Jen was always JJ's first choice but he was trying to convince other people she could do it. That is why she kept having to audition...other producers, network execs, etc.

That is why JJ told her about the show back when he was writing it and snuck her a copy of the script.

Yeah thats what I've heard KaveDweller....I thin kJJ always knew that she was the girl, but she had to to convince everyone else.

I can't imagine anyone else being Sydney Bristow...it just wouldn't be right, and I believe taht this show woulnd't have lasted.
