Sorry for the down time today folks, it was nothing major.
On our server that is an automated job that backs up the Cool Sci-Fi database every night and stores the backup on the server. I then go in and make an offsite copy every so often in case of emergency and then purge the old backups leaving the most recent. The problem is if I forget to purge them on a regular basis we run out of disk space on one of the hard drives (the server has a few drives) causing system issues.
In the past several years our down times have all been self-inflicted.
