In church on sunday, we were talking about dating and how everyone has their dream list of what they think the perfect partner would be like. This inspired me to write one of my own.

1.Someone i am completely comfortable being myself around
2.Outgoing, lively, alot like Dharma on Dharma and Greg.
3.Willing to compromise
4.Athletic
5.Likes watching sports
6.shorter than 5'9
7.someone that loves me as much or more than i love them
8.good sense of humor
9.smart, witty
10.someone i wouldnt mind seeing every second of my life for the rest of my life

if you dont already have one, you could make one up. what does everyone else look for
 
1. Someone who's nice!! (that's a requertment of coure)
2. She has to be at least a little bit funny
3. Also able to be serious sometimes
4. She must be intelligent.. (there are sooo many dumb girls, it's unbelievable)
5. Someone that loves me as much as I love her.
6. Not too lazy.
7. Be able to listen (90% of the times I am listening)
8. She must take the relation as serious as I do... and I certainly will.
9. She must never cheat.. or I will explode... lol i hate everything that has to do with cheating on ur partner.. and i mean really hate.
10. Likes the same things as me
11. being able to understand my humor.. lol i'm a strange guy at that point.

Maybe I can think of more things later.

2. Intelligent but not a boffin!
3. Good sense of humour.
4. Taller than me (>5'8)
5. Good in bed LOL!

Wow! I'm shocked! You guys actually think of qualities beyond looks :eek: (well, except for jem) lol
Well, from a girls perspective, some qualities I find that are prerequisites for a guy are:

1) A guy who is comfortable with himself that he dosn't act and dress like an egotisical doush-bag (Baggy pants etc).
2) Has to be a more "quite" type. I'm mellow and need to be around someone who dosn't feel the need to be in a conversation every 2 second.
3) Someone who likes being inside with me, like watching movies and stuff. I'm an indoor gal.
4) Someone who has goals in life, such as carrer etc.
5) Mature/serious at times.
6) Funny, maybe even corny funny. I like dorkish guys. lol
7) Is compatible (Get along well, like the same things)
8) Has morales
9) Dosn't cheat (You cheat, you gone)
10) O.K, had to add atleast one shallow thing. You must have nice hair. Not neat, but has to be long enough to put fingers through. I dig that. Also good teeth.
11) Must like art (like visual art, music, literature, etc)
12) Dosn't like stanky, air head, spunky type girls

the ultimate bf would turn into my husband some one who loves sports, btu also wouldn't mind taking me to a ply. He's tall. Pretty good looking. He's has to be pretty smart. Havea sense of humor. In my dream life he has some job that is emough to support us so I don't have to work and when i'm about 27 I can start having kids.

3. He gets on with my friends.
4. He makes me laugh.
5. He makes me happy ( in many ways.)
6. he is going somehwere in life.
7. Non-violent and non-abusive.
8. i can talk to him easily about most things.

my requirements. i have someone woh fills most of them but i messed up and now it looks like i am going to loose him forever.

There is no such thing as a perfect boyfriend... weeeell maybe Michael Vartan. :lol: but if I were to ever have a boyfriend (puh :rolleyes: :lol:smiley:

He can't be bigoted or ignortant, and a least a little intelligent. :confused: Hmm... and of course a little compassionate and funny. ^_^

eeeeeeeeeeeeee and watches Alias or at least doesn't bash the show. :lol: Because I can't stand it when people say Alias sucks and the show is so stupid. :o_O:
 
what i would like:
someone smart,funny and interesting, who can talk about many things
that i can go out with him,to a party or to go dancing and who also likes to stay in ,watching a movie or something
must like movies. someone who likes the music and movies i do but not exactly the same ones.
he has to be nice ,gentle,caring,tolerant and open-mind
good looking,sure, but not extremely
sure of himself but not too sure
not obsessed with sports
easy to talk to,
makes me laugh and protects me
get alongs with my friends and has nice friends for me and my friends to get along with
mature,but can be inmature
funny but knows when to be serious
it's not embarrased to show how he feels.
sensible,but not extremely sensible
has moral, doesnt cheat
has goals and dreams in life
is in general a good decent guy
dresses good
not hiphop or rap, slightly punky could be
Likes tv, i'd really like a guy who watches alias
dont know whta else

'kay in no particular order, my perfect guy would

have good sense of humour,
be a bit of a spunk,
be not too much older or younger than me,
like alias, (or at least be able to handle my obsession with it)
smell nice (for some reason that's very important to me)
be intelligent, but not patronzing or a snob,
doesn't have be a great singer (irina knows i'm not), but a nice singing voice for drunken karaoke would be a plus.
good personal hygine, (no greasy hair!)
can have facail hair but must be either neat or charmingly unkempt.
likes animals
good cook
be a romantic, i'm not asking for someone who would take me to a chick flick even if he didin't want to go, but just a guy who can make those little sweet gestures that mean so much.
be relatively fit, doesn't have to be a gym junkie or have washboard abs, just not look like snata claus, (that said, there's something about male gymnasts that makea me all drooly)

oop forgot- non- smoker very important

he must exist somewhere :lol:
 
okay here's mine:
tall (5'10 or taller)
confident
funny
honest and not into playing games
dark hair (i cant help it, im mainly attracted to dark haired guys)
has direction in life
easygoing and up for anything
open and easy to talk to
supportive
non smoker
likes animals
okay one more physical thing... i like broad shoulders
likes to play sports wether he is good at it or not

and dont vomit when i say my fiance has all of these... :love:
