Dream or Reality?

This is just a little bit of the begining.

A million things raced through Sydney's mind.

"Is this it? Is this the end of me? The end of earth? Will my friends be okay? I'm going to die" were only some of the thoughts racing through her head.

The Telling was aimed right at her, and she couldn't escape.

"Sorry it has to be this way Sydney, but I need you out of the way!" yelled Sloane.

He fired the Telling right at her. it came out in a beam of light.

It hit Sydney right on.

All of a sudden, for Sydney, everything started to go blury. She was having flashbacks from when she was little. Her mother, the night she died, her 11th birthday party and other things from her childhood. Then she became lightheaded. All she could see was Sloane, and he was really blury. She couldn't even see his face. Then someone else came. Her mother?

"Sydney? Sydney Are you all right?" her mother said.

Soon, Sydney blacked out.

Tell me what you think. Is it good, bad? Be honest, I don't care (y) (n)

Well it's unique, that's for sure. ( I mean that in a good way!) I'm interested to see where this goes, add more details if you like. Keep up the good work!

SYDNEY'S POV

"How the heck did I get here?" I asked myself.

"HELLO?!? IS ANYONE THERE?!?" I yelled.

I wanted someone there with me, so I wouldn't have to feel alone anymore. I didn't care who.

I decided to swim a little further in.... or out..... I didn't know where I was going.

I saw a little ship. I decided to swim up to it.

There were people on the ship dressed funny and carryong guns.

They spoke in a funny language. One I didn't understand.

I swam up to the ship.

"HEY!!!! CAN YOU HELP ME!!!! I'M LOST!!!!" I yelled.

They just looked at me. I don't think they understood.

They were talking again. The only word I understood was Rembaldi.

They lowered a rope down. I grabbed on and they pulled me up.

"Thank you! I'm...... I'm......" Funny, I couldn't remember my name!

The guard walked over and kicked me in the stomach.

"Aghhh! What was that for?!?" I yelled.

They handcuffed my hands behind my back and chained my feet to some big metal poles.

A man stepped down.

"They think your the evil demond of Rembaldi! They are going to sacrifice you to the gods tonight!" he said.

"Hey! Wait! You understand english!" I yelled.

"My name is Damian, what's your's?" he asked.

"I'm....... I'm....... I can't remember my name" I replied.

"What?!? That's weird. Okay, where are you from?" he asked.

"I'm from........ from........." I couldn't answer.

"Man, what is wrong with you?!?" he asked.

I wanted to cry. Things were all screwed up. I couldn't remember my name or where I was from, I was going to die tonight!

"Hey! Don't cry! It's okay! I'll find a way to get you out! I promise!" said Damian.

"Th.... th.... thank you!" I said.

Damian and the others went inside.

I was so scared.

"Is this a dream..... or reality?" I thought.

It was freezing cold outside. I was wearing a tank top with some baggy pants. I was soooo cold.

I looked at my watch to see what time it was. It was all screwed up! The numbers were backwards and out of order and the hands kept spinning! They never stopped.

A tear escaped, followed by another, and another. Soon I was sobing.

I really thought I was going to die.

I smelled the air and looked at the waves. I could tell a storm was coming.

Damian came out with some food.

"What's the matter? Don't cry! It'll be okay! I promise"

I felt I could trust this Damian, so I had to ask.

"Damian, where am I? What time is it? What year is it?" I asked.

"Well, your on earth, it's 89:00pm and It's the year 2098" he said.

"WHAT?!? NO WAY!!! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!" I said.

"What's so impossible about it?" he asked.

I didn't age or anything! All those years went by and I was still okay.

"Is there a man named Arvil Sloane here?" I asked.

"No hun, he died a long, long time ago!" said Damian.

"Get some rest. You'll need it. You looked trashed!"

I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

I knoe it's a little wierd but I hope you like it! More soon!

Chapter 2: The Storm

Sydney's POV

I closed my eyes and tried to sleep. I just couldn't though. I opened them again and looked at the sea, or ocean, or whatever it is.

The sky was grey. The winds were strong. The waves were killer. I knew if I escaped Damian's group, I'd still have to get past the storm. I lost all hope. Any minute it would start to storm.

A man came outside.

"Damian?" I asked.

It wasn't Damian.

He unchained me and brought me to the upper deck. There was a statue. It was weird. I had never seen anything like it before, but it felt somehow...... firmiliar. There was a big read circle on the ground. There was a man with an axe.

Everybody on the ship must have been there. It started to rain. It was drizzling, then poring. It was coming down so bad, everytime a raindrop hit me, it stung.

The man with the axe brought me over to the circle.

"This is it" I thought.

He was about to swing when a bolt of lightening hit the ship. It started a small fire.

Then another hit. I ran over to the side of the boat and grabbed onto the rail. Another bolt hit, and that did it.

I fell off the boat and into the water. The water was to strong to fight.
