I've always been fascinated by this subject, and I've even written some fiction about it. I became interested enough to do some research on the possibilities of ancient astronauts, modern "first contacts" including UFOs and possible outposts on the Moon, and future "first contacts." What will it do to our religions, governments, etc.? How do we communicate if we've never been able to decipher an ancient language without a Rosetta Stone?
