Songs and music really set the tone of movies, which, in turn, produce great soundtracks!

Do you have any fave songs that have been in movies? Right now, I'm loving 'My Ain True Love' from Cold Mountain, ever since I saw the performance at the Oscars!!!!

I loved Jump! for my Love in Love Actually when Hugh broke it down - gah! :love: hehehe

Not too mention most of the songs from Bridget Jones's Diary ^_^ Esp. The Someone Like You by Van Morrison song that always played when she was with Darcy... hehe I love movie!
 
Some classics that I really enjoy:

I've Had the Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing
Footloose from Footloose
Only Hope (the Switchfoot version) from A Walk To Remember
Mine All Mine from Sweet Home Alabama


And my newest fav would be Dance Like This from Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights

In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel from "Say Anything"

and more recently:

Colorblind by Counting Crows from "Cruel Intentions"
 
hmm my fave song from a movie... I have so many. Right now its probably Pretty woman. but I cant think of my all time fave because it changes so often.

i'm not really a big fan of movie songs...i don't know why.

but the first time i heard blink 182 was in "can't hardly wait" and i've been addicted ever since ;)

YES! That's the name of the song! Hehe... sorry. I couldn't think of it then it just popped into my head. Yeah, that's one of my fave movie songs.

The Beegees "Staying Alive" from umm... what the hell is the movie?!?! AHHHHH! Oh yeah, Saturday Night Fever. It was "Staying Alive" wasn't it??

Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life" from Daredevil was awesome.

Oh! And Chad Kroeger and that other guy for ummm.. SHOOT! What was the name of the song? From Spider-man??


OH! OH! That song from My Best Friend's Wedding... "In the morning when I wake up, before I put on my makeup.. I say a little prayer for you." Something like that...
