if you don't like the books, why the heck have you read them all? i really don't understand the people who only like the films i mean hello, the movies are based on the books, but the books are even better since you get a lot of more details and so on. and the films are in my opinion a little bit childish. i mean if they do the 5th movie for the same audience as the 1st movie, they've got a hell of a task to make it suit for younger kids as well. i think the movie makers made a mistake when they did the first and 2nd movie so childish cuz they can't do the 3rd, 4th and definately not the 5th in the same way cuz then it'll just be total felgercarb. just because the story is about a kid (or in the beginning he's a kid and then GROWS) doesn't mean that the movies have to be for kids. it should be for youngsters and adults, as are the books. well that's my opinion, you don't have to agree with it... and don't get me wrong here, i absolutely love harry potter, i just think that the movies could have been done better...i haven't seen the 3rd one yet, but i've heard it's better than the first two. (it hasn't come hereyet...)
1. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
4. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I didn't like any of them past Prisoner of Azkaban, but that would be my order if I had to...
I'm glad to see that The Prisoner of Azkaban is the first one!
It's my favourite because of Snape and Sirius, but mostly Snape. I loved the old story about the four wizards and their secret meetings, it was exciting!
I was soooo disappointed by the movie, it's the worst of all, in my opinion...
But my favourite chapter is in HP7, "the prince's tale"....I think it's the nicest thing I've ever read!
