Fight Club

Plot Summary:

You're young. You have an easy, well-paid deskjob. You have a condo, Swedish furniture, artistic coffee tables and a fridge full of condiments. Yet you feel emotionally and spiritually empty. You eventually find comfort in going to support groups for lukemia and cancer victims when there's nothing wrong with you until they're hijacked from you by another faker. Then you meet Tyler Durden, a man that shows you that not only can you live without material needs but that self-destruction, the collapse of society and making dynamite from soap might not be such a bad idea either.

I absolutely love, LOVE this movie. Edward Norton and Brad Pitt had great chemistry. The script was well-written and is close to the novel by Chuck Palahniuk. And like Chuck, I actually prefer the movie's ending over the book's. A small part of me would like to know how Marla and "Jack" are doing. I'm not asking for a sequel, maybe a short story, just to know.

"The first rule of Fight Club is - you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is - you DO NOT talk about Fight Club. Third rule of Fight Club, someone yells "Stop!", goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule, only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule, one fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule, no shirt, no shoes. Seventh rule, fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule, if this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight."

One of Brad Pitt's hottest movies imo.

(y) No doubt about it. If not THE hottest.

One of my all time favorite movies.. I think I've seen it five times already but I can't get enough of it! Brad Pitt's best movie..

Jared Leto looked weird with that blond platinum hair. For some reason, I found Edward drained expression to be cute. I can't help but laugh when members of fight club are trying to start fights with total strangers lol

I saw this on the 1st showing on opening day during my 1st year of college. During the last half of the movie to the end, I was saying to myself in my head, "WTF is going on?What just happened?" I had to rent it on DVD to understand the whole "twist." A very disturbing movie with hints of black comedy I must say.

i adored this movie. it's one of my favourites. brad pitt and edward norton have great chemistry and are amazing actors. plus the entire idea of it. it's all about damn the man and anti-materialism and anti-commercialism. and i love that for it in and of itself, and because of the irony. i mean, a big hollywood movie selling itself on the theme of anti-materialism and anti-commercialism is just hilariously ironic.
