Fox's Star Trek Spoof Boldly Going Nowhere Lands Captain

Wired said:
Fox's intergalactic space comedy Boldly Going Nowhere has landed its fearless leader.

Actor Ben Kol****, who wrote, directed and starred in Star Wars parody Jedi Gym (screenshot embedded) will play the rogue captain in the sitcom.

Kol**** is joined by Tony Hale, best known for playing the youngest Bluth brother, Buster, in the short-lived cult hit Arrested Development.

Hale will portray the captain's android companion.

Boldy Going Nowhere is the latest project from the trio behind the dark comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day. The pilot for Nowhere is schedule to shoot in October.

I had no idea a Trek parody was even in the works.

If it comes from the Sunny guys, though, you can be sure that it will not exactly be meant for kids since they come up with some pretty twisted stuff.
