This was surprisingly more entertaining than I thought it would be. With John Cena, Alison Brie, and Juan Pablo Raba in the starring roles, with Christian Slater co-starring, I assumed it was going to be another made-for-streaming clunker with the usual tropes and, while there are tropes to be found, it reminded me more of the old style movies & TV shows from the 80's like The A-Team, MacGyver, and other action oriented shows. The action shows & movies back then were a bit simpler with non-complicated story lines, a protagonist with a set of standards, and a happy ending. If you like those kinds of older shows then give this one a try.

On a semi-related note, after Slater being in Archer, and now seeing him in this movie as well, I think he makes a perfect actor for 'shadowy-government operative' roles. 😆
