full screen?

Up to this point i've just been using the default window size when mc opens up. But my question is will it lag more if i make the window full screen?

well what render distance can you play on? if its anything better than tiny your comp can handle it. i lag enough as it is on tiny.

I always play on the far render distance.

Try starting with java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar Minecraft.jar

For that, you need the Minecraft.jar for linux/other

Cuz that's essentially what's being run

How do i go about this on windows?

Download the linux version, go to cmd and run that command in the folder Minecraft.jar is in.

Or make a .bat file with that content in that folder.

alright, what exactly does that command do?

It runs minecraft with 1024M of memory. If you have less, it won't work and you could try 512M or something
