FYI - If anybody had a problem connecting this afternoon it was because I rebuilt our Apache installation on the server today. Everything seems to be running fine.
You know what? This site has to be the most stable vB site that isn't corporate. Downtime was a bit bad over the xmas period obviously, but over the years, it's down pretty well. Just need to draw people in....
