From what (little) I know... the ads that show up in the top/mid are ads that have counters. And the website recieves compensation based on those counters?

I have been clicking the adds every once in a while hoping it helps out some how.

I was wondering though, do they look at IP addresses? I was just curious if clicking the ads was actually helping or not...

Yes, your URL origin is tracked and our host is paid the more you click. Please don't feel obligated to click on anything, though. Only click what actually interests you. I would do away with all advertising if I could. Maybe one day...
