I'd like do donate blood when I'm older, but at the moment I'm drifting in and out of anaemia so...*shrugs*.

How often can you donate blood?

How long does it take for your body to replace the blood taken?

You can donate blood every eight weeks after a last donation, unless instructed by a doctor not to that often, and some states even have hieghtened the requirement

and it takes only 24 hours for your body to replenish the blood that was taken

here's some sites if you guys are really interested:

Only eight weeks between?!
In Sweden, if you're a woman you can donate every fourth month, if you are a man every third month.
Maybe the volume differs????

I spent New Years in Ghana in West Africa, where there's a lot of Malaria, so now I have to wait at least six month before I can donate again.
