Grunberg to be "Hero"

Grunberg Is A Hero

Greg Grunberg (Alias) stars in and Dave Semel is onboard to direct the NBC pilot Heroes, a drama about ordinary people who discover they have super powers, Variety reported.

Semel is directing the pilot for NBC Universal TV Studio through his overall deal there. Tim Kring is behind the project, which also stars Ali Larter (Final Destination) and Milo Ventimiglia.

Semel directed the American Dreams pilot at NBC, as well as the network's upcoming drama Windfall.

NBC and NBC Universal TV Studio are both owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.

I've heard some good very early buzz about it ...

... and for the first time since BoomTown, NBC is developing a few shows I'm interested in trying. (That is, that I'm hearing about in the "it's coming" stage.) So we'll see how it goes.
