If you've been following news, you'll know that a lot of people are upset about the new choice for the Joker in Heath Ledger. Maybe there was enough bad karma out there and he'd read all the bad press around his choosing?

I would've put somebody like Britney Spears or Paris Hilton on the 'Celebrity Death Watch' way before him.

Before he was cast, I was really hoping for Paul Betany(sp?), but I was ok with him in the role. He was way better than Nicholson (who would have been great when he was a younger man), and I liked what I saw in the most recent trailer.

Like Kevin, I can't understand how it couldn't have been someone like Spears or Hilton. I guess that's reason 231,589 for why I don't belive in God. Or Gods.
