Hawaii Five-0's Alex O'Loughlin is undergoing treatment for prescription medication.
The Australian star could miss filming for at least one episode while he undergoes treatment.
O'Loughlin's publicist Jodi Gottlieb released a statement, which said, "Alex is taking a short break from Hawaii Five-0 to receive supervised treatment for prescription pain medication due to a recent shoulder injury."
The 35-year-old Australian star himself has said its been hard work being in Hawaii Five-O, right from the pilot episode two years ago. "It's not like we ramped up a certain pace," he told Hawaii News Now's Teri Okita last month. "It was like explosions and fistfights on top of containers and you know, gunshots and all the rest of it from the onset."
